Hi and thanks for stopping by! Welcome to the  At Home party!  Join in and show us your fabulous trash to treasures, furniture make-over's, those spray painted items and anything else you've done! My make-over is one of 6 chairs I have been working my way through. 

From old, yucky, gross, but great lines to.... 

New, fresh, clean, distressed. 

Re-upholstered with a vintage grain sack. How cool is that "25" ?

While I was distressing it, my oldest said "Why do you have to make everything look old?"

"Because I like it."

"No way , not me, I like it all shiny and new."

Please tell me I am not raising a modernist; all sleek lines and shiny furniture (shudder, shudder.)! She already rearranges things I "arrange" in the house, I'll find a Polly pocket in my terrarium or littlest pet shop dogs in a tabletop vignette. It's like living with a mini-me, and honestly, one of "me" is more than quite enough for this house. :)
